Discovery of exoplanets
Exoplanets are any planets outside of our solar system. With the help of artificial intelligence, scientists were able to detect 301 exoplanets at a time in November 2021.
This brings the total number of exoplanets known to humans to 4,569.

It's getting crazier! In less than a day, artificial intelligence was able to detect 366 more exoplanets, bringing their total number even higher. The second set of discoveries was made using an algorithm developed by UCLA.
