How NGO helps women through entrepreneurship program

Even today, women's participation in the paint industry is very low in rural and semi-urban areas of India. Women Entrepreneurship Program has been started to change this thinking.

Under Project Indradhanush, women are being motivated to move forward in the paint business in many districts of West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh. The main objective of this initiative is to enable women to open and run paint shops (NCOs) and connect them with local painters.

In this project, women are given EDP training, skill training and information related to painting, so that they can become self reliant. Also, they are linked to big dealers so that their business also becomes sustainable and profitable.

The purpose is not just income, but also confidence and identity. This initiative of Project Indradhanush is preparing to paint women in new colors - for a self-reliant and inclusive India.
