Everyone gives donations to useful social causes, but not all donations provide a full deduction. Only some donations qualify for 100% Tax Exemption under 80G, which means you can deduct the entire donated amount from your income liable for tax. These donations include donations to:
• Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund

• Chief Minister’s Relief Fund
• Swachh Bharat Kosh
• Clean Ganga Fund
• National Children’s Fund
You can make the donation, and at the time of filing your return, you can claim full Tax Exemption on Donation.
Note:
• You can only get deduction if the donation is made registered government funds or an 80G Exempt NGO qualify.
• Payment has to be cheque, draft, or online transfer. It cannot be cash (above ₹2,000).
By donating to the right fund, you not only save taxes but also make a meaningful social impact.
