Jerry: Good.Squirt a little of this cleaning fluid into this bucket.

よかった。この洗浄液をすこし絞りだしてバケツにいれて。to squirt a thin fast stream，fluid：流動体、流体（液体liquidと気体gasの総称）
bucket：バケツ、手桶(ておけ)

Helen: Okay, done.OK，やったわよ
Jerry: Then pour a capful ofthis into the bucket and mix.そしたら、これをキャップ一杯分バケツに注いで混ぜて

Jerry: After that, dribblethree drops of this special liquid into it and stir until you get a nice layer of foam on the surface.

Martin: Why do you look so upset?

なんでそんなに不安そうなの？

Joselyn: Our neighbor’s house was broken into last night. The burglar stole her laptop and some jewelry. Like us, she doesn’t have a security system.

近所のお家が昨日の夜、押し入られたのよ。強盗はノートパソコンとジュエリーを盗んでいったんですって。私達と同じで防犯システムを設置してなかったのよ

to break into：侵入する、押し入る；burglar：強盗、押し込み強盗、泥棒

Martin: Burglar alarms aren’t foolproof. Well, I’m not letting any burglars get close to our house. Let’s go.

Martin: To the home improvement store. We need tobuff up our security. I want to install motiondetectors,floodlights, and security cameras to the outside of the house.

Martin: And last but not least, we’ll need an attack dog.

言うのが最後になっちゃったけど、でも重要度が低いわけじゃないってことがあるんだ、それは訓練を受けた番犬(ばんけん)が必要になるってこと。

Joselyn: An attack dog?! This is sounding more like a military compound than a home.

番犬ですって？それって自宅っていうより軍事基地みたいに聞こえるわ。

Martin: That’s right. When I’m done, Fort Knox will ·have nothing on· us !
