如何才能服众

How to Convince the Public

要做一个好领导，有一些要领是必须要知道的：
To be a good leader, there are some essentials that must be known:
1. 临众贵在丰盈。
1. Be generous to the public
面对大众的时候 要宽宏大量 很大方 尽量地满足他们各方面的需求、他们的愿望 让他们感到满意。
When dealing with the public, be generous, try to meet their needs, their desires and make them feel satisfied.
2. 处己务从简约。
2. Be simple to yourself
自己一切力求简约、节省为宜。
Strive to keep everything simple and frugal for yourself.
3. 其余细碎 悉勿关心。
3. The rest is of no concern

那些琐事、无关紧要的小事 用不着去操心 别老放在心里面。
Don't worry about the little things that don't matter, don't keep them in your mind.
4. 用人深以推诚，择言故须取重。
4. A man being used cannot be suspected, when speaking, focus on the important points.
用人方面，必须以真诚的心相待，对他们要能够信任。
In terms of employing people, you must treat them with sincerity and give them enough trust.
说话方面不可信口开河，啰啰嗦嗦半天说不到重点，
In terms of speaking, don’t talk at random or ramble on and on without getting to the point.
要言简意赅，有分量，让人觉得一言九鼎，
To be concise and comprehensive, have weight, let a person feel that every word carries weight.
这是自尊自爱的表现，这样才能显出领导的尊严！
This is a sign of self-respect and self-love to show the dignity of leadership!
身为领导的人如果能自尊，就不必故意装得很威严的样子，而大众自然悦服。
If a leader can respect himself, he does not have to deliberately put on an air of authority, and the public will naturally be convinced.
古人说孔子，远望好像显得很威严，但是亲近他的时候，又发觉他其实很和蔼、很温善。
The ancients said of Confucius that he seemed to be very majestic from a distance, but when you got close to him, he was actually very kind and gentle.
好领导应该给人这种感觉，远望有威严的感觉，但亲近他又觉得很亲切。
A good leader should give people this feeling, a feeling of authority from a distance, but close to him and feel very friendly.
所以要做一个让人心悦诚服的领导还是自己要做到位，
So, to be a convincing leader, you should do things in place.
领导做到以上几点，则无论什么样的人 都乐意各尽其心、各奋其力来拥戴领导，
If a leader does the above things, all kinds of people shall be happy to support him or her with all their heart and strength.
这样比起那些凭仗威势、权力 用驱使喝骂的方法，使人不得已而服从的情形，效果相去甚远矣！
This is far more effective than those who force and scold people into obedience by authority and power.
